joins Community Development Department
oversee The County’s major grant application processes – monitoring
government and other funding opportunities, working with departments
to understand their needs, and pulling together information and
resources to give The County the best possible chance at securing
funding. She will also be responsible for coordinating a variety of
special projects within the Community Development Department
including Downtown Revitalization efforts working alongside business
associations, community groups and others. This position will also
provide assistance to The County’s Recreation Committees.
Emily comes to The County from the PEC Chamber of Commerce,
where she served as Executive Director for the past two years. During
this time the CDD worked closely with Emily on projects like the
County Workforce Partnership, Winter Survival Workshops and a number
of advocacy and policy initiatives.
