PELA CFDC is a community-based, not-for-profit corporation that encourages local entrepreneurship and economic development.

Prince Edward / Lennox & Addington Community Futures Development Corporation provides:

Business loans, grants and training, free business counseling services, information and statistical analysis, and connections to entrepreneurs, investors and community groups.

Prince Edward Chamber of Tourism and Commerce

The Chamber partners with the municipality to operate the visitor information centre that provides accommodation information, ideas for activities and opportunities to experience all that Prince Edward County has to offer visitors. Beyond visitor services, the Chamber is the voice of business in the community monitoring issues that affect business at the local, provincial and federal levels.

The NRC sponsors a program called the Industrial Research Assistance Program. It’s designed to help you accelerate the growth of your business through innovation, technology and funding services customized to your specific needs.

Business Associations oversee the improvement, beautification and maintenance of designated downtown areas.

County Community Foundation

The County Community Foundation is a registered charity dedicated to building a strong and healthy PEC encouraging community-oriented philanthropy, providing leadership to assess and address community needs. The CCF raises funds and makes strategic grants to education, healthcare, community service, arts & culture, youth, environment, and community development.
